HOUSE BILL NO. 1321
BY REPRESENTATIVE MICHAEL JACKSON
PROPERTY/RIGHTS:  Provides for the right to utilize propane gas as an energy source
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 9:1105, relative to storage tanks; to provide for certain rights relative to the2
placement of certain storage tanks; and to provide for related matters.3
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:4
Section 1.  R.S. 9:1105 is hereby enacted to read as follows:5
ยง1105.  Storage tanks; right of use6
A property owner may place, install, or use storage tanks containing7
alternative gases, including but not limited to propane on his property to function as8
an energy source.  Each storage tank shall be approved by the Louisiana Liquefied9
Petroleum Gas Commission.10
