APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT: Appropriates funds for payment of judgment in the suit
entitled "Kermit Roberson and Virginia Roberson v. DOTD"
AN ACT1
To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2010-2
2011 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Kermit Roberson3
and Virginia Roberson v. State of Louisiana, through Department of Transportation4
and Development"; and to provide for related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. The sum of Fifty Thousand and No/100 ($50,000.00) Dollars is hereby7
appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 to8
be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Kermit Roberson and Virginia9
Roberson v. State of Louisiana, through Department of Transportation and Development",10
bearing Number 38,403-04 on the docket of the Eighth Judicial District Court, parish of11
Winn, state of Louisiana.12
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2010; if vetoed by the governor13
and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,14
