HOUSE BILL NO. 363

APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT:  Appropriates funds for payment of judgment in the
matter of "Kaye Frances Willis v. State of La., DOTD"
AN ACT1
To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2010-2
2011 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Kaye Frances3
Willis v. State of Louisiana, Department of Transportation and Development"; and4
to provide for related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1.  The sum of Twenty Thousand Sixty-Four and No/100 ($20,064.00)7
Dollars, to be paid to Kaye Frances Willis and her attorney, Eskridge E. Smith, Jr., is hereby8
appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 to9
be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Kaye Frances Willis v. State of10
Louisiana, Department of Transportation and Development", bearing Number 37,566-02 on11
the docket of the Eighth Judicial District Court, parish of Winn, state of Louisiana.12
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2010; if vetoed by the governor13
and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,14
2010, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later. 15 HLS 10RS-1218	ORIGINAL
