CREDIT:  Allows an extender of credit to charge fees and expenses in certain situations
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 6:969.18(A)(5), relative to fees or expenses charged by an extender of credit;2
to allow for fees and expenses incurred in connection with the financing of a3
manufactured home; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 6:969.18(A)(5) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6
ยง969.18. Documentation and compliance fees; notary fees; transfer of equity and7
other fees; disclosure8

(5) The extender of credit may charge for any fees and expenses incurred for11
flood determination and flood zone monitoring services in connection with the12
financing of a manufactured home.13

Proposed law allows an extender of credit to charge for any fees and expenses incurred for
flood determination and flood zone monitoring services in connection with the financing of
a manufactured home.
