HOUSE BILL NO. 443
BY REPRESENTATIVE HUTTER
COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES:  Provides relative to campuses designated as part of the
Louisiana Technical College
AN ACT1
To repeal R.S. 17:1994(B)(15), (33), (34), and (41); to repeal provisions designating the2
Jefferson, Sidney N. Collier, Slidell, and West Jefferson campuses as part of the3
Louisiana Technical College; to provide an effective date; and to provide for related4
matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. The provisions of R.S. 17:1994(B)(15), (33), (34), and (41) are hereby7
repealed in their entirety.8
Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not9
signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature10
by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana.  If11
vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become12
effective on the day following such approval.13

Present law, in part, designates the following campuses as part of the Louisiana Technical

Proposed law repeals present law designations relative to these campuses.
Effective upon signature of governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
