UTILITIES:  Prohibits the posting of any signs on public utility poles or stanchions
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 45:126, relative to utility poles; to prohibit the display of signs on utility2
poles; and to provide for related matters.3
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:4
Section 1. R.S. 45:126 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 5
ยง126.  Utility poles; prohibition6
A. Notwithstanding any other provision of the law to the contrary, no signs,7
posters, flyers, or other form of communication shall be erected, displayed, or posted8
on any public utility pole or stanchion.9
B. This Section shall not create any additional legal duty on the owners or10
custodians of such poles or stanchions.11
