COMMENDATIONS: Commends the Natchitoches Central High School Lady Chiefs upon
winning the state powerlifting championship
A CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON1
To commend the Natchitoches Central High School Lady Chiefs upon winning the state2
powerlifting championship.3
WHEREAS, the Natchitoches Central High School Lady Chiefs powerlifting team4
completed a sensational season, earning the title of 2010 state powerlifting champions by5
scoring forty-nine points at the Louisiana High School Powerlifting Association's state meet6
on March 6, 2010, at Central High School; and 7
WHEREAS, the state powerlifting championship win was the culmination of another8
unforgettable season for the Lady Chiefs; and 9
WHEREAS, the members of the team performed at the highest level of excellence10
throughout the 2010 season and at the state meet, and each of these great Lady Chiefs11
deserves recognition for her vital contribution to the winning effort; and 12
WHEREAS, the amazing accomplishments of the team could not have been achieved13
without the guidance and skills of head coach Bob Ralston, who was named the 2010 Class14
5A Girls Coach of the Year by the Louisiana High School Powerlifting Association, as well15
as all of the other individuals who have contributed to the success of the school's16
powerlifting program; and 17
WHEREAS, the team's outstanding 2010 season upholds the glorious tradition of the18
Lady Chiefs, and all Natchitoches Central High School alumni and fans recognize the19
immense pride and distinguished honor that the team brings to its school, community, and20

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby1
commend the Natchitoches Central High School Lady Chiefs powerlifting team upon2
winning the 2010 state powerlifting championship and does hereby extend best wishes to the3
players, coaches, and everyone involved with this fine powerlifting program as they4
celebrate their exceptional season and prepare for continued success in the future.5
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted6
to Bob Ralston, head coach of the Lady Chiefs powerlifting team.7
