COMMENDATIONS: Commends the Catholic High School track and field team upon
winning the 2010 Class 5A state championship
A RESOLUTION1
To commend the Catholic High School track and field team upon winning the 2010 Class2
5A state championship.3
WHEREAS, the Catholic High School track and field team completed a sensational4
season, earning the title of 2010 Class 5A state champions after scoring 104 points at the5
state track and field meet at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium at Louisiana State University;6
and7
WHEREAS, the championship win was the third consecutive state track and field8
championship for the Bears and the culmination of another unforgettable season; and 9
WHEREAS, the members of the team performed at the highest level of excellence10
throughout the 2010 track and field season, and each of these great Bears deserves11
recognition for his vital contributions to the winning effort; and 12
WHEREAS, the amazing accomplishments of the team could not have been achieved13
without the guidance and skills of Coach Pete Boudreaux as well as all of the other14
individuals who have contributed to the success of the school's track and field program; and15
WHEREAS, the team's outstanding 2010 season upholds the glorious tradition of the16
Bears, and all Catholic High School alumni and fans recognize the immense pride and17
distinguished honor that the team brings to its school, community, and state.18
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the19
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the Catholic High School track and field20
team upon winning the 2010 Class 5A state championship and does hereby extend best21 HLS 10RS-4488 ORIGINAL

wishes to the players, coaches, and everyone involved with this fine track and field program1
as they celebrate their exceptional season and prepare for continued success in the future.2
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted3
to Coach Pete Boudreaux.4
