ENROLLED Page 1 of 2 Regular Session, 2010 HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 84 BY REPRESENTATIVE BALDONE A RESOLUTION To commend the Terrebonne High School girls softball team upon winning the 2010 District 8-5A championship. WHEREAS, the Terrebonne High School girls softball team completed a sensational season, earning the title of 2010 District 8-5A champions; and WHEREAS, the district championship win was the culmination of another unforgettable season for the Lady Tigers; and WHEREAS, the members of the team performed at the highest level of excellence throughout the season, and each of these great Lady Tigers deserves recognition for her vital contributions to the winning effort; and WHEREAS, the 2010 Terrebonne High School girls softball team consists of Jennifer Barber, Brooke Becnel, Sabrina Bergeron, Shelby Bourque, Callie Clement, Kourtney Curry, Jenaye Deroche, Alexandra Domangue, Brooke Fonseca, Danielle Liner, Nikki Marcel, Jacey Mouton, Lindsey Naquin, Lauren Verret, and Morgan Yancey; and WHEREAS, the amazing accomplishments of the team could not have been achieved without the guidance and skills of head coach Bess Buerrero as well as all of the other individuals who have contributed to the success of the school's softball program; and WHEREAS, the team's outstanding 2010 season upholds the glorious tradition of the Lady Tigers, and all Terrebonne High School alumni and fans recognize the immense pride and distinguished honor that the team brings to its school, community, and state. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the Terrebonne High School girls softball team upon winning the 2010 District 8-5A championship and does hereby extend best wishes to the players, coaches, and everyone involved with this fine softball program as they celebrate their exceptional season and prepare for continued success in the future.
