AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 33:9091.15(F)(3)(c), relative to Orleans Parish; to provide for2
renewal elections of parcel fees for the Oak Island Neighborhood Improvement3
District; and to provide for related matters.4
Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. R.S. 33:9091.15(F)(3)(c) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as7
follows: 8

(c) If approved, the fee shall expire on December 31, 2014, but the fee may14
be renewed if approved by a majority of the registered voters of the district voting15
on the proposition at an election as provided in Subparagraph (a) of this Paragraph.16
Any election to authorize the renewal of the fee shall be held only at the same time17
as the mayoral primary election for the city of New Orleans for that purpose in18
accordance with the Louisiana Election Code.  If the fee is renewed, the term of19
the imposition of the fee shall be as provided in the proposition authorizing such20
renewal, not to exceed eight years.21 SB NO. 201	ENROLLED

Section 2.  This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2010.2
