(8/15/10) AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 38:2212(A)(3)(h) relative to public contracts; to provide relative to lump sum2 contracts and unit prices; and to provide for related matters.3 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:4 Section 1. R.S. 38:2212(A)(3)(h) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 5 §2212. Advertisement and letting to lowest responsible bidder; public work;6 electronic bidding; participation in mentor-protégé program;7 exemptions8 A. * * *9 (3) * * *10 (h) Any proposal, which requires a bidder to submit a lump sum cost for11 public work, shall include no more than five unit prices on the bid form.
