WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT. Provides relative to membership on the Occupational
Forecasting Conference. (8/15/10)
AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 23:76(C)(4)(i), relative to the Occupational Forecasting2
Conference; to provide for membership in the Occupational Forecasting Conference;3
and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 23:76(C)(4)(i) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:6

(4) The principals of the conference shall be as follows:10

(i) One member of the Black Economic Development Council Louisiana12
Minority Supplier Development Council.13

DIGEST
Present law provides that a member of the Black Economic Development Council be
included as a member of the Occupational Forecasting Conference.
Proposed law deletes the current provision and proposed law provides that a member of the
Louisiana Minority Supplier Development Council shall be included as a member of the
Occupational Forecasting Conference.
Effective August 15, 2010.
