(gov sig) AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 17:3995(A)(7), relative to funding for charter schools; to prohibit the2 allocation or transfer of locally derived revenues to Type 2 charter schools without3 voter approval; and to provide for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 17:3995(A)(7) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6 ยง3995. Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not1 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature2 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana.
