AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 42:1124.3(A), relative to financial disclosure; to provide that2
members of the governing or management board of a charter school are subject to3
certain financial disclosure requirements; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 42:1124.3(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:6
ยง1124.3. Financial disclosure; certain elected officials, voting districts of under five7
thousand8
A. Each person holding a public office who represents a voting district9
having a population of fewer than five thousand and each member of the governing10
authority or management board of a charter school created pursuant to11
Chapter 42 of Title 17, except any person who is required to file a financial12
statement by R.S. 42:1124, 1124.2, or 1124.2.1 shall annually file a financial13
statement as provided in this Section.14
