(7/1/10) AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 47:302.26(C)(2), relative to the disposition of certain collections2 in St. Tammany Parish; to correct the name of a certain entity allocated monies from3 the St. Tammany Parish Fund; to provide for an effective date; and to provide for4 related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 47:302.26(C)(2) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:7 ยง302.26. Disposition of certain collections in St. Tammany Parish8 * * *9 C. Monies in the fund shall be subject to annual appropriation by the10 legislature and shall be allocated as follows:11 * * *12 (2) St. Tammany Parish Economic and Industrial Development District,13 fifteen percent.14 * * *15 Section 2. Lueckel. DIGEST Present law deposits certain avails of the state sales tax levied on room rentals in St. Tammany Parish into the St. Tammany Parish Fund. Allocates 85% to the St. Tammany Parish Tourist Commission and allocates the remaining 15% to the St. Tammany Parish Economic and Industrial Development District. Proposed law retains present law relative to allocations, but corrects the name of the development district from St. Tammany Parish Economic and Industrial Development District to St. Tammany Parish Development District. Effective July 1, 2010. (Amends R.S. 47:302.26(C)(2))
