PARKS.  Allows the possession of firearms on certain state lands.  (8/15/10)
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 56:1691, relative to possession of firearms; to allow the possession of firearms2
on certain state lands; to provide terms and conditions; and to provide for related3
matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1.  R.S. 56:1691 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6
ยง1691.  Possession of firearms7
A person who lawfully possesses a firearm may possess or transport such8
firearm within the boundaries of a state park, state historic site, state9
preservation area, or other lands under the jurisdiction and control of the office10
