Regular Session, 2010 ENROLLED SENATE BILL NO. 576 BY SENATOR CLAITOR AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 40:966(E)(2), relative to second offense possession of marijuana;2 to provide for a minimum fine; to require participation in substance abuse programs3 and community service in certain circumstances; and to provide for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 40:966(E)(2) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:6 ยง966. Penalty for distribution or possession with intent to distribute narcotic drugs7 listed in Schedule I; possession of marijuana8 * * *9 E.
