(8/15/10) AN ACT1 To amend and reenact Code of Criminal Procedure Art. 437, relative to grand juries; to2 provide for inquiries into certain offenses; and to provide for related matters.3 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:4 Section 1. Code of Criminal Procedure Art. 437 is hereby amended and reenacted5 to read as follows: 6 Art. 437. Inquiry into offenses; authority and duties 7 The grand jury shall inquire into all capital offenses and offenses punishable8 by life imprisonment triable within the parish.
