First Extraordinary Session, 2011 HOUSE BILL NO. 20 BY REPRESENTATIVE KATZ CENSUS: Provides relative to provisions in Title 46 which are limited in applicability to political subdivisions or local areas meeting specified population characteristics (Item #8) AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 46:1081(A) and 1091(A)(1) and (B)(1)(b), relative to provisions2 of Title 46 (Public Welfare and Assistance) of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of3 1950 which are limited in applicability to certain political subdivisions or local areas4 based upon population classifications; to specify applicability to one or more5 political subdivisions or local areas; to repeal provisions that are outdated or6 obsolete; and to provide for related matters.7 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:8 Section 1. R.S. 46:1081(A) and 1091(A)(1)and (B)(1)(b) are hereby amended and9 reenacted to read as follows: 10 PART III. PARISH HOSPITAL SERVICE DISTRICTS DISTRICT FOR RAPIDES11 §1081. Parish hospital service district; population Rapides12 A.
