AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 23:66(B), relative to provisions of Title 23 of the Louisiana2
Revised Statutes of 1950, which provides with respect to Labor and Workers'3
Compensation and which are limited in applicability to certain political subdivisions4
or local areas based upon population classifications; to specify applicability to one5
or more political subdivisions or local areas; and to provide for related matters.6
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:7
Section 1. R.S. 23:66(B) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 8

B. The Louisiana Workforce Commission shall adopt rules to ensure that the11
governing authority of any agency or group associated with or funded through a12
community action agency in any municipality with a population of more than five13
hundred thousand the city of New Orleans shall utilize a democratic process in the14
selection of the members of the governing authority of such agency or group.15
