ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Authorizes the use of telecommunication and video conferencing at ATC hearings AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 26:99.1, 296.1, and 919.1, relative to the regulation of alcohol and tobacco2 products; to authorize participation at hearings through the use of3 telecommunications equipment; to provide for rulemaking authority; and to provide4 for related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 26:99.1, 296.1, and 919.1 are hereby enacted to read as follows: 7 §99.1. Participation in hearing by video conference8 To the extent practicable, the commissioner may authorize the use of9 teleconference, video link, or other visual remote communications technology for the10 conducting of any hearing as authorized by this Chapter. Prior to utilizing such11 technology, the commissioner shall adopt rules pursuant to the provisions of the12 Administrative Procedure Act to provide for the methods and requirements of13 utilizing teleconference, video link, or other visual remote communications14 technology for conducting any hearings authorized by the provisions of this Chapter.15 * * *16 §296.1.
