AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 4:149.5(B)(1), relative to horse racing; to authorize account2
wagering to be conducted by a facility licensed by the Louisiana State Racing3
Commission and operating as pari-mutuel live horse racing facility; and to provide4
for related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. R.S. 4:149.5(B)(1) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:7

B.(1) Notwithstanding any other provisions of law to the contrary, the10
commission shall adopt rules regulating account wagering and shall authorize11
account wagering to be conducted by a licensee operating a pari-mutuel live horse12
racing facility located in the city of New Orleans.13
