AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 48:292.1(C)(1)(introductory paragraph) and (a), relative to the2
Small Engineering Consultant Program; restricts participation in the program to3
certain engineering consultant firms; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 48:292.1(C)(1)(introductory paragraph) and (a) is hereby amended6
and reenacted to read as follows: 7

C.(1) Engineering consultants interested in participating in the program shall10
annually apply for prequalification. Only a small engineering consultant whose firm11
meets the following qualifications provided by this Paragraph at the time of12
application may participate in the program:13
(a) It has been in business for a continuous period of at least three less than14
two years.15
