HOUSE BILL NO. 605

APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT:  Appropriates funds for payment of judgment against
the state in the matter of "William Mothershead v. Matthew Davis, et al"
AN ACT1
To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2011-2
2012  to be used to pay the consent judgment against the state in the suit entitled3
"William Mothershead v. Matthew Davis; Irby Construction Company; Old Republic4
Insurance Company and Illinois National Insurance Company"; and to provide for5
related matters.6
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:7
Section 1. The sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred and No/100 ($2,500.00) Dollars8
is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year9
2011-2012 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "William Mothershead10
v. Matthew Davis; Irby Construction Company; Old Republic Insurance Company and11
Illinois National Insurance Company", bearing Number 109,406, Division E, on the docket12
of the Twenty-First Judicial District Court, parish of Livingston, state of Louisiana.13
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2011; if vetoed by the governor14
and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,15
2011, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later. 16 HLS 11RS-1225	ORIGINAL
