HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 12
BY REPRESENTATIVE SCHRODER
A RESOLUTION
To commend the St. Paul's School soccer team for winning the Division I state
championship.
WHEREAS, the St. Paul's School soccer team completed a sensational season,
earning the title of 2011 Division I state champions after defeating Jesuit High School by a
score of two to one to win the thrilling state championship game at Tad Gormley Stadium
in New Orleans, Louisiana; and
WHEREAS, the historic victory was the first Division I state title for the Wolves
soccer team and was the culmination of an unforgettable season; and
WHEREAS, the members of the team performed at the highest level of excellence
throughout the 2010-2011 season and playoffs, and each of these great Wolves deserves
recognition for his vital contribution to the winning effort; and
WHEREAS, the members of this outstanding team include Jeffrey Duplantier, Chase
Jenkins, Will Crawford, Kenny Bonano, Eric Schwing, Joe Familia, Jordan Daigle, Doug
Durand, Andrew McInnis, Peter Harvey, Brett Garraway, Adrian McInnis, Will Gutterman,
Trent Domingue, Drew Guin, Michael Booth, Kannon Otillio, Peyton Blank, Seth Hagan,
Will Barnett, Michael Gegenheimer, Sean Ross, Daniel Garraway, Jonathan Macheca, and
Jacob Luke, as well as manager Zach Barnett and statistician Nicholas Pecoraro; and
WHEREAS, the amazing accomplishments of the team could not have been achieved
without the guidance and skills of head coach Sean Moser as well as all of the other
individuals who have contributed to the success of the school's soccer program; and
WHEREAS, all St. Paul's School alumni and fans recognize the immense pride and
distinguished honor that the team brings to its school, community, and state.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the St. Paul's School soccer team upon ENROLLEDHR NO. 12
Page 2 of 2
winning the 2011 Division I state championship and does hereby extend best wishes to the
players, coaches, and everyone involved with this fine soccer program as they celebrate their
exceptional season and prepare for continued success in the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Coach Sean Moser.
