Regular Session, 2011 ENROLLED SENATE BILL NO. 159 BY SENATOR APPEL AND REPRESENTATI VE LEGER AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 47:6036(G), relative to tax credits; to extend the Ports of2 Louisiana investor tax credit; to provide for a termination date; to provide for an3 effective date; and to provide for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 47:6036(G) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 6 ยง6036. Ports of Louisiana tax credits7 A. * * *8 * * *9 G. Termination of Investor Tax Credit.10 The provisions of Subsection C of this Section shall be effective until January11 1, 2015 2017, and no investor tax credit pursuant to the provisions of this Section12 shall be granted after such date.13 * * *14 Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not15 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature16 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana.
