FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS. Provides relative to the disclosure of records of the Office
of Financial Institutions to state or federal licensing or investigative agencies. (8/15/11)
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 6:103(B)(17), relative to records of the Office of Financial Institutions; to2
provide for disclosure of certain information to certain state or federal agencies; and3
to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1.  R.S. 6:103(B)(17) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6
ยง103. Records of the Office of Financial Institutions7

B. The commissioner, in his sole discretion, may disclose or cause the9
employees of the Office of Financial Institutions to disclose:10

(17) Records of the Office of Financial Institutions concerning any12
person subject to its jurisdiction when such records are requested by another13
state or federal agency having authority to license or investigate such entity or14
person.15

Proposed law authorizes the commissioner of OFI to disclose or cause the employees of the
OFI to disclose records concerning any person subject to its jurisdiction when such records
are requested by another state or federal agency having authority to license or investigate
such entity or person.
Effective August 15, 2011.
