of Financial Institutions to state or federal licensing or investigative agencies. (8/15/11)
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 6:103(B)(17), relative to records of the Office of Financial Institutions; to2
provide for disclosure of certain information to certain state or federal agencies; and3
to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 6:103(B)(17) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6

B. The commissioner, in his sole discretion, may disclose or cause the9
employees of the Office of Financial Institutions to disclose:10

(17) Records of the Office of Financial Institutions, other than criminal12
history record information provided to the office by a state or federal law13
enforcement agency, concerning any person subject to its jurisdiction when such14
records are requested by another state or federal agency having authority to15
license or investigate such entity or person.16

Proposed law authorizes the commissioner of OFI to disclose or cause the employees of the
OFI to disclose records, other than criminal history record information provided to OFI by
a state or federal law enforcement agency, concerning any person subject to its jurisdiction
when such records are requested by another state or federal agency having authority to
license or investigate such entity or person.
Effective August 15, 2011.
