David "Dave" Gregory, LCSW, of the Department of Veterans Affairs for his dedication and compassionate service to disabled veterans and their families. A RESOLUTION1 To commend J. David "Dave" Gregory, LCSW, of the Louisiana Department of Veterans2 Affairs for his dedication and compassionate service to disabled veterans and their3 families.4 WHEREAS, many war veterans continue to experience the horrific experiences of5 war long after their service; and6 WHEREAS, for many years Dave Gregory has provided counseling and services to7 war veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other war related8 illnesses; and9 WHEREAS, he has exhibited great compassion and understanding for these veterans10 treating them all with the respect, understanding and honor that their service deserves; and11 WHEREAS, Dave Gregory's love of service, dedication, and deep commitment has12 greatly enhanced the quality of life for these veterans and their families; and13 WHEREAS, he has been a voice for those that have experienced horrific memories14 of war, been their counselor and confidant, listening quietly and gently guiding these men15 and women through the difficulties of their illness helping those that would otherwise be16 lost, live productive lives.17 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana18 SR NO. 111 SLS 11RS-2446 ORIGINAL Page 2 of 2 does hereby commend J.
