SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 160

COMMENDATIONS. Commends Lloyd Higginbotham, Pat Cluse, and James Hebert on
their service on the St. Martin Parish Council.
A RESOLUTION1
To commend Lloyd Higginbotham, Pat Cluse, and James Hebert for their years of service2
on the St. Martin Parish Council.3
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to recognize public servants who step up and lend their4
time to governance so that the families of their community may have a better place to live;5
and6
WHEREAS, this is no more true than in the example set forth by Lloyd7
Higginbotham, Pat Cluse, and James Hebert, three members of the St. Martin Parish Council8
who have served the people they represent with honor and distinction; and9
WHEREAS, the people of St. Martin Parish will forever be grateful for the time,10
energy, and commitment these three individuals have given to their community; and11
WHEREAS, as respected civic leaders, council members Higginbotham, Cluse and12
Hebert have fully used every opportunity to improve the welfare of their constituency and13
move their parish forward, while serving in an honorable and dedicated manner; and14
WHEREAS, the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana wishes to salute Lloyd15
Higginbotham, Pat Cluse and James Hebert for their years of effective leadership and16
records of exemplary service on behalf of the people in St. Martin Parish, who will long reap17
the benefits of their legacy of excellence, honesty, and professionalism.18 SR NO. 160

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana1
does hereby commend Lloyd Higginbotham, Pat Cluse, and James Hebert for their years of2
distinguished service on the St. Martin Parish Council and their dedication to making their3
community and state a better place to live.4
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to Lloyd5
Higginbotham, Pat Cluse, and James Hebert.6
