SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 160
BY SENATOR MILLS 
A RESOLUTION
To commend Lloyd Higginbotham, Pat Cluse, and James Hebert for their years of service
on the St. Martin Parish Council.
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to recognize public servants who step up and lend their
time to governance so that the families of their community may have a better place to live;
and
WHEREAS, this is no more true than in the example set forth by Lloyd
Higginbotham, Pat Cluse, and James Hebert, three members of the St. Martin Parish Council
who have served the people they represent with honor and distinction; and
WHEREAS, the people of St. Martin Parish will forever be grateful for the time,
energy, and commitment these three individuals have given to their community; and
WHEREAS, as respected civic leaders, council members Higginbotham, Cluse and
Hebert have fully used every opportunity to improve the welfare of their constituency and
move their parish forward, while serving in an honorable and dedicated manner; and
WHEREAS, the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana wishes to salute Lloyd
Higginbotham, Pat Cluse and James Hebert for their years of effective leadership and
records of exemplary service on behalf of the people in St. Martin Parish, who will long reap
the benefits of their legacy of excellence, honesty, and professionalism.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend Lloyd Higginbotham, Pat Cluse, and James Hebert for their years of
distinguished service on the St. Martin Parish Council and their dedication to making their
community and state a better place to live. SR NO. 160	ENROLLED
