A RESOLUTION1 To express the sincere condolences of the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana upon the2 death of Terry Lynn Moore Grace.3 WHEREAS, it is with great sadness that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana4 has learned of the passing of Terry Lynn Moore Grace on June 20, 2011; and 5 WHEREAS, Terry Lynn Moore was born November 12, 1962, in Baton Rouge, as6 the only child of the union of Ruth Richard Moore and Hurd L. Robinson Sr.; and 7 WHEREAS, she was baptized at an early age by the late Reverend Frank Winder,8 pastor of the Greater St. John Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, where she joined fellowship;9 and 10 WHEREAS, Terry Lynn Moore was reared in the public schools of East Baton11 Rouge Parish and was a 1980 graduate of McKinley Senior High School; and12 WHEREAS, on May 10, 1986, Terry Lynn married Ronald W. Grace and to this13 union two sons were born, Ronald W. Grace Jr. and Rashad W. Grace; and14 WHEREAS, she was employed with the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board with15 over twenty-eight years in food service; and16 WHEREAS, Terry Lynn Moore Grace joined fellowship with the New Jerusalem17 Full Gospel Baptist Church, under the leadership of Bishop Eugene Harris where she served18 SR NO. 162 SLS 11RS-3166 ORIGINAL Page 2 of 2 as member of the Deaconess Board #2 and served in constant faithful support of her pastor;1 and2 WHEREAS, she was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Richard Moore;3 grandparents, Alfred Moore Sr. and Elner Jackson Moore; grandparents Burrel and Maud4 Robinson; mother-in-law Lucille J. Lodge and father-in-law Hayward Grace Jr.; and a sister5 Terry Denton; and6 WHEREAS, Terry Lynn Moore Grace leaves to cherish her memories her devoted7 husband, Ronald W. Grace Sr.; two sons, Ronald W Grace Jr. and Rashad W. Grace; her8 father, Hurd L. Robinson Sr.; a brother Hurd L. Robinson Jr.; a godchild, D'Lana Knighten9 and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends; and10 WHEREAS, Terry Lynn Moore Grace adored her family, catering to their every need11 as a devoted wife and mother, and a caring and loving daughter, sister, niece, and friend; and12 WHEREAS, while her death leaves a tremendous void, her memory will live forever13 in the lives of her family and friends.14 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana15 does hereby extend condolences to the family of Terry Lynn Moore Grace on the occasion16 of her death.17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to18 Ronald W.
