Coach Jason Lemoine told his young players that he expected them to play well enough to
reach the tournament again and to win it; and
WHEREAS, the Wildcats had a great 2011 season, playing well and improving each
week, and ultimately winning their way back into the tournament and the championship
game; and
WHEREAS, Livonia High School was seeded ninth and would face the second-
seeded Parkview Baptist Eagles, known as a powerhouse team with seven championships
in the past ten years; and
WHEREAS, the underdog Wildcats stunned the Eagles in the first inning of the game
at J.C. Love Field as they scored three runs and never lost the lead in a victory that ended
with a final score of 7-5; and SR NO. 35	ENROLLED
