APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT: Appropriates funds for payment of judgment in favor
of Tim Green in the matter of "Bridget Bourgeois, et al v. DOTD, et al" c/w "Tim
Green, et al v. State Farm Mutual Insurance Company, et al" c/w "Johnathan Louis
and Manya Louis v. DOTD"
AN ACT1
To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2012-2
2013 to be used to pay the consent judgment in favor of Tim Green in the suit3
entitled "Bridget Bourgeois, individually, and on behalf of her deceased son, Cody4
J. Cormany v. State of Louisiana through Department of Transportation and5
Development, Johnathan Louis and/or the Estate of Johnathan Louis, State Farm6
Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, State Farm Fire and Casualty Company and7
Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO)" consolidated with "Tim8
Green v. State Farm Mutual Insurance Company, Allstate Insurance Company, the9
Estate of Cody Cormany and the Estate of Johnathan Louis" consolidated with10
"Johnathan Louis and Manya Louis v. State of Louisiana through Department of11
Transportation and Development", and to provide for related matters.12
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:13
Section 1. The sum of Five Thousand and No/100 ($5,000.00) Dollars is hereby14
appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 to15
be used to pay the consent judgment in favor of Tim Green in the suit entitled "Bridget16
Bourgeois, individually, and on behalf of her deceased son, Cody J. Cormany v. State of17
Louisiana through Department of Transportation and Development, Johnathan Louis and/or18
the Estate of Johnathan Louis, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, State19

(GEICO)" consolidated with "Tim Green v. State Farm Mutual Insurance Company, Allstate1
Insurance Company, the Estate of Cody Cormany and the Estate of Johnathan Louis"2
consolidated with "Johnathan Louis and Manya Louis v. State of Louisiana through3
Department of Transportation and Development", bearing Numbers C569,599, Section 25,4
C569,024, Section 27, and C560,288, Section 25, respectively, on the docket of the5
Nineteenth Judicial District Court, parish of East Baton Rouge, state of Louisiana.6
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2012; if vetoed by the governor7
and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,8
2012, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later. 9
