APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT: Appropriates funds for payment of judgment against
DOTD in the matter of "Kevin and Monique Leblanc, et al v. James Robertson, et
al"
AN ACT1
To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2012-2
2013 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Kevin and Monique3
Leblanc individually and on behalf of their minor children v. James Robertson and4
the State of Louisiana through the Department of Transportation and Development";5
and to provide for related matters.6
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:7
Section 1. The sum of Seventy-Eight Thousand Five Hundred and No/1008
($78,500.00) Dollars is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana9
for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Kevin10
and Monique Leblanc individually and on behalf of their minor children v. James Robertson11
and the State of Louisiana through the Department of Transportation and Development",12
bearing Number 147849, Division "C" on the docket of the Thirty-Second Judicial District13
Court, parish of Terrebonne, state of Louisiana.14
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2012; if vetoed by the governor15
and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,16
2012, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later. 17 HLS 12RS-294 ORIGINAL
