[R.S. 1:13(B) and 24:177(E)] St. Germain HB No. 633 Abstract: Makes technical revisions to Weigh-In-Motion system requirements. Present law requires all trucks attempting to bypass weigh station facilities using certain off- ramp bypass routes will be screened and monitored by a Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) Photo Enforcement System. Provides that trucks which do not exit to the weigh station are weighed and classified by a highly accurate single load cell WIM System. Also provides that the image captured can be printed using a laser printer located in the central office and used for enforcement purposes. Proposed law removes the reference to "single load cell" and the phrase "using a laser printer located". (Amends R.S. 32:390(C))
