Regular Session, 2012 HOUSE BILL NO. 673 BY REPRESENTATIVE HARRISON EDUCATION/FINANCE: Requires 80% of MFP funds be spent on classroom instruction for students AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 17:81(W), relative to powers and duties of local public school boards; to2 require local public school boards to adopt policies to require that eighty percent of3 the minimum foundation program formula funds be spent on classroom instruction4 for students at each school; and to provide for related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 17:81(W) is hereby enacted to read as follows:7 ยง81. General powers of city, parish, and other local public school boards8 * * *9 W.
