AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 3:15, relative to applications for licenses, permits, or certificates; to provide2
for social security numbers; and to provide for related matters.3
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:4
Section 1. R.S. 3:15 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 5
ยง15. Application for license, permit, certificate; social security number required6
A. Each board or commission authorized to issue a license, permit, or7
certificate under this Title shall require each applicant to include his social security8
number on the application.9
B. Each board or commission shall maintain confidentiality of an applicant's10
social security number.11
