HIGHWAYS: Urges and requests DOTD to install a caution light at the intersection of
Highway 20 and Choctaw Road
A RESOLUTION1
To urge and request the Department of Transportation and Development to install a caution2
light at the intersection of Louisiana Highway 20 and Choctaw Road in Lafourche3
Parish.4
WHEREAS, Louisiana Highway 20 is heavily traveled throughout the parish of5
Lafourche; and6
WHEREAS, the increase volume of traffic has led to congestion throughout the area7
and needs a traffic signal to alleviate speeding and increasing traffic volume.8
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the9
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby urge and request that the Department of Transportation10
and Development install a caution light at the intersection of Louisiana Highway 20 and11
Choctaw Road in Lafourche Parish.12
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted13
to the secretary of the Department of Transportation and Development.14
