HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 129

A RESOLUTION
To urge and request the Department of Transportation and Development to install a caution
light at the intersection of Louisiana Highway 20 and Choctaw Road in Lafourche
Parish.
WHEREAS, Louisiana Highway 20 is heavily traveled throughout the parish of
Lafourche; and
WHEREAS, the increased volume of traffic has led to congestion throughout the
area and needs a traffic signal to alleviate speeding and increasing traffic volume.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby urge and request that the Department of Transportation
and Development install a caution light at the intersection of Louisiana Highway 20 and
Choctaw Road in Lafourche Parish.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to the secretary of the Department of Transportation and Development.
