HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 26
BY REPRESENTATIVE SEABAUGH
A RESOLUTION
To commend Pastor Rick Edmonds for ten years of faithful service at Calvary Baptist
Church in Shreveport.
WHEREAS, on April 15, 2012, Calvary Baptist Church in Shreveport is celebrating
ten years under the leadership of its Senior Pastor, Rick Edmonds; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Rick Edmonds and his wife, Cindy, have served faithfully and
with distinction and have provided steady, visionary leadership for their church and
community; and
WHEREAS, under Pastor Rick Edmonds' leadership and commitment, Calvary
Baptist Church in Shreveport remains one of the largest churches in its region and one of the
most vibrant churches in the Louisiana Baptist Convention, consistently serving as a leader
in baptisms, evangelism, outreach, world missions, and quality Christian education; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Rick Edmonds merits a sincere measure of commendation for
his faithful and committed service to Calvary Baptist Church and the people of the state of
Louisiana.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Pastor Rick Edmonds upon his tenth
anniversary as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Shreveport, does hereby recognize the
spiritual leadership, inspiration, and guidance that he provides to his church and community,
and does hereby wish him and his family full measures of success and happiness in the years

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Pastor Rick Edmonds of the Calvary Baptist Church in Shreveport.
