HLS 12RS-4061 ORIGINAL Page 1 of 2 Regular Session, 2012 HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 91 BY REPRESENTATIVE HOWARD COMMENDATIONS: Commends the Anacoco High School girls softball team upon winning the 2012 Class B state championship A RESOLUTION1 To commend the Anacoco High School girls softball team upon winning the 2012 Class B2 state championship.3 WHEREAS, the Anacoco High School girls softball team completed a sensational4 season, earning the title of 2012 Class B state champions; and 5 WHEREAS, the Anacoco High School's 9-1 victory over Quitman High School at6 Frasch Park in Sulphur on Saturday, April 28, marked the Lady Indians' first ever7 championship win; and8 WHEREAS, each of the Lady Indians performed at the highest level of excellence9 throughout the season and playoffs and deserves recognition for her vital contributions to10 the winning effort; and11 WHEREAS, the Lady Indians' accomplishments during this unforgettable season12 would not have been possible without the guidance and skills of coach Chase Stringer and13 all of the other individuals who have contributed to the success of Anacoco High School's14 softball program; and 15 WHEREAS, the team's outstanding season upholds the glorious tradition of the Lady16 Indians, and all Anacoco High School alumni and fans recognize the immense pride and17 distinguished honor that the team brings to its school, community, and state.18 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the19 Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the Anacoco High School girls softball team20 upon winning the 2012 Class B state championship and does hereby extend best wishes to21 HLS 12RS-4061 ORIGINAL HR NO. 91 Page 2 of 2 the players, coaches, and everyone involved with this fine softball program as they celebrate1 their exceptional season and prepare for continued success in the future.2 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted3 to Coach Chase Stringer.4 DIGEST The digest printed below was prepared by House Legislative Services.
