CHARITABLE GAMING. Increases the number of days that games of chance may be
conducted. (8/1/12)
AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 4:714(A), relative to charitable gaming; to increase the number2
of days a licensee may hold, operate, or conduct any game of chance within a3
calendar month; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1.  R.S. 4:714(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 6
ยง714. Restrictions; requirements; transfers; prohibitions7
A. No licensee shall hold, operate, or conduct any game of chance under this8
Chapter more often than on fifteen twenty days in any one calendar month.9

DIGEST
Present law limits to 15 days within a calendar month that a licensee may hold, operate, or
conduct any game of chance.
Proposed law increases the number of days within a calendar month from 15 to 20 that a
licensee may hold, operate, or conduct any game of chance.
Effective August 1, 2012.
