(8/1/12) AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 30:124(E)(1)(b), relative to the lease of public lands for2 alternative energy sources; to provide certain terms, conditions, and requirements for3 certain lands governed by ports, harbors, and terminal districts; to provide for the4 reimbursement of studies and reports; and to provide for related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 30:124(E)(1)(b) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:7 ยง124. DIGEST Present law provides that the State Mineral and Energy Board shall have the authority to lease public lands for alternative energy sources, and provides rules and regulations. Present law further provides rules for lands governed by ports, harbors and terminal districts. Proposed law provides that ports or districts shall receive reimbursement for actual expenses incurred for any studies or reports conducted in order for their approval. Effective August 1, 2012.
