Candidate and Officeholder Disclosure Modifications
An Act Requiring Disclosure Of Presidential And Gubernatorial Candidates' Federal Tax Returns.
Requires elected public officials and candidates for elective public office to disclose if they ever filed for bankruptcy; requires financial disclosure by candidates for public office in county or municipality.
Provides for the requirements of the notice of candidacy by additionally requiring a candidate for major or district office to certify that he has filed any campaign finance reports previously due and provides for the filing of vacancies on parish executive committees
Requires the secretary of state to include the email addresses of candidates and elected officials on the department database. (8/1/12) (OR INCREASE GF EX See Note)
