GAMING.  Provides for amenities of qualified truck stop facilities. (8/1/12)
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 27:306(A)(4)(e), relative to the operation of video draw poker devices; to2
provide relative to amenities required of qualified truck stop facilities; and to provide3
for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1.  R.S. 27:306(A)(4)(e) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6

(e) The amenities of a qualified truck stop facility required by the12
provisions of this Paragraph shall be operational and in good working condition13
at all times that the truck stop is licensed for the operation of video draw poker14
devices.15

Present law provides for the operation of video draw poker devices at qualified truck stops.
Present law requires qualified truck stop facilities to have certain amenity features.
Proposed law retains present law and requires the amenities to be operational and in good
working condition while the truck stop is licensed to operate video draw poker devices.
Effective August 1, 2012.
