(8/1/12) AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 6:121.2(D), relative to powers and duties of the commissioner2 of the office of financial institutions; to provide for the commissioner's authority to3 obtain criminal history record information; and to provide for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 6:121.2(D) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 6 ยง121.2. Authority to obtain criminal history record information7 * * *8 D. Upon the commissioner's submission of a person's fingerprints and such9 other identifying information as may be required, the bureau shall conduct a search10 of the state or FBI's criminal history record information, or both as if requested by11 the commissioner, relative to the person and report the results of its search to the12 commissioner within sixty days after receipt of any such request. The bureau may13 charge the commissioner a reasonable processing fee for conducting and reporting14 the results of any such search.
