STATE DEPARTMENTS.  Requires certain state departments to develop and submit annual
reports providing statistics on women by race and ethnic groups. (8/1/12)
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 46:2525.1, relative to data collected by certain state departments; to provide2
that certain state departments develop reports providing statistics on women by race3
and ethnic groups; to provide for annual reports; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1.  R.S. 46:2525.1 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6
ยง2525.1.  Reporting statistics on women by race and ethnic group7
The secretary of the Department of Children and Family Services,8
Department of Health and Hospitals, Department of Economic Development,9
director of the Department of State Civil Service, the Superintendent of the10
Department of Education, the commissioner of the division of administration,11
the executive director of the Louisiana Workforce Commission and the head of12
the Louisiana State University Health Science Center Health Care Services13
Division shall develop and submit annual reports providing statistics on women14
by race and ethnic groups, which shall include but not be limited to15
performance indicators, and the state of women in Louisiana to the Senate16
Select Committee on Women and Children and the Louisiana Women's Policy17 SB NO. 552

and Research Commission beginning on August 15, 2013. Each agency shall1
post its annual report on the official website of the agency.2

Effective August 1, 2012.
