(8/1/12) AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 32:402.3(C) and 408(C)(1) relative, to motorcycle endorsements2 on drivers' licenses; to provide that persons meeting certain qualifications are not3 required to take a written knowledge test to obtain an "M" endorsement on a driver's4 license; and to provide for related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 32:402.3(C) and 408(C)(1) are hereby amended and reenacted to read7 as follows:8 §402.3. Motorcycle Safety, Awareness, and Operator Training Program; fund9 * * *10 C. Participation in the program shall be voluntary for any person who meets11 the qualifications of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections to apply for a12 motorcycle operator's endorsement. Such an4 endorsement shall be made only after the applicant has taken and successfully passed5 tests specifically designed for the operation of such vehicles.
