Page 1 of 1 Regular Session, 2012 ENROLLED SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON NO. 4 BY SENATOR ERDEY A CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON To urge and request that the Department of Transportation and Development to study truck traffic patterns on LA 1019 between LA 16 and LA 64 in Livingston Parish. WHEREAS, trucks are traveling upon LA 1019 through a residential area as a shortcut between LA 16 and LA 64 in Livingston Parish; and WHEREAS, such trucks traveling upon LA 1019 raise concerns for the public safety of residents who live along LA 1019; and WHEREAS, a study of truck traffic patterns is needed to determine whether or not truck traffic should be restricted on LA 1019. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby request that the Department of Transportation and Development study truck traffic patterns on LA 1019 between LA 16 and LA 64 in Livingston Parish. BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED that the Department of Transportation and Development submit a written report of its findings, recommendations and actions taken, if any, to the House and Senate committees on transportation, highways and public works no later than March 1, 2013. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the secretary of the Department of Transportation and Development.
